Atlanta Braves vs. Minnesota Twins

Game context
The Atlanta Braves enter this interleague contest at Target Field as the stronger club, holding a 74-51 record and sole possession of first place in the NL East, while the Minnesota Twins sit at 61-65 and third in the AL Central. The Twins took the series opener 4-2 on August 17 behind a four-run first inning, giving them home momentum for the Wednesday matinee. Probable starters pit Braves left-hander Martín Pérez, who has posted a sub-3.00 ERA with a strong ground-ball rate, against Twins right-hander Bailey Ober. Atlanta’s offensive depth and bullpen depth contrast with Minnesota’s need for consistent production at home, though Target Field conditions and the day-game scheduling could influence bullpen usage and lineup construction for both sides.
