Game context

MI New York and Seattle Orcas meet again on July 10 at Grand Prairie Stadium in a T20 league fixture that carries playoff implications in the tight 2026 MLC standings. The sides contested a low-scoring thriller on July 2, where MI New York defended 132 thanks to Quinton de Kock’s 61 and Romario Shepherd’s 3 for 16, prevailing by five runs while Orcas slipped in the table. Seattle responded with a narrow win over Texas Super Kings days later, highlighting their resilience in bowling-heavy conditions. Both sides sit near the top with comparable records and net run rates, making recent form, overseas contributions from players like Marcus Stoinis, and adjustments to the Texas pitch central to assessing momentum heading into the rematch.
