Game context

London Spirit host Manchester Super Giants in the men's Hundred at Lord's on July 23, marking the opening fixture for both sides in the rebranded 2026 competition. Spirit's squad, led by Liam Livingstone and featuring Jonny Bairstow, Dewald Brevis, Adam Zampa, and David Willey, gains depth from recent wildcard additions and AJ Tye's signing as cover amid Jamie Overton's bowling fitness concerns. Super Giants counter with Aiden Markram's captaincy, Jos Buttler, Heinrich Klaasen, and Gus Atkinson, emphasizing batting firepower and spin options like Noor Ahmad. Home conditions at the venue, combined with early-season form and T20-style roster balance, shape trader views on the closely matched contest.
