Halle Open: Alexander Zverev vs Vit Kopriva

Game context
Alexander Zverev enters the Halle Open first-round matchup against Vit Kopriva as the clear favorite, riding momentum from his maiden Grand Slam title at the 2026 French Open and a seven-match winning streak. The top-seeded German benefits from home-court support on his preferred grass surface at the ATP 500 event, despite limited pre-tournament practice after the clay-to-grass transition. Kopriva, ranked around No. 64, has minimal grass-court experience and faces his first encounter with Zverev. Betting markets and trader consensus price Zverev at implied probabilities exceeding 90 percent, reflecting his superior recent form, ranking, and surface familiarity against an opponent whose results have come primarily on clay. Weather and any late adjustments to Zverev’s preparation remain secondary variables.
