Roehampton 2: Inaki Montes vs George Loffhagen

Game context
**Inaki Montes-De La Torre enters the Roehampton 2 Challenger quarterfinal as the clear favorite against George Loffhagen, driven by his higher ranking (around No. 280) and stronger 2026 record (roughly 35-13 overall with multiple titles).** The Spaniard has shown consistent form on hard courts this week, advancing through qualifying and posting straight-sets or three-set wins over Ponchet, Paldanius, and Boitan. Loffhagen, ranked near No. 496 after a career-high of 200, holds a home-country edge but carries an 8-11 record for the year and has leaned on strong serving in his path (wins over Gray and Ivanov). The hard-court matchup favors the more reliable returner and recent title winner, though Loffhagen’s experience at higher levels keeps an upset window open if he maintains first-serve pressure.
