National Bank Open: Rafael Jodar vs Corentin Moutet

Game context
Rafael Jodar, the 19-year-old Spaniard who reached a career-high ATP ranking of No. 15 in early August 2026 after strong results including a title in Marrakech, brings momentum and improving hard-court consistency into the National Bank Open clash. The right-hander's recent win-loss record and transition from college success highlight his baseline power and two-handed backhand on faster surfaces. Corentin Moutet offers left-handed variety, net skills, and experience against higher-ranked opponents, though his form and ranking trail Jodar's current level. Hard-court conditions in Toronto favor aggressive play, with both players' recent schedules and any late injury updates likely shaping the draw positioning and potential fatigue factors heading into the match.
