US Open, Qualification ATP: Titouan Droguet vs Daniel Rincon

Game context
Titouan Droguet enters this US Open qualifying first-round match as the clear favorite against Daniel Rincon, backed by his ATP ranking of 111 versus Rincon’s 206 and stronger recent hard-court results. The Frenchman posted a 36-19 record in 2026 with a 7-4 mark on hard, advancing through Cincinnati qualifying before a competitive main-draw loss to Berrettini. Rincon, primarily a clay-court player with a 4-5 hard record this season, has struggled for consistent results on the surface and enters after a first-round Challenger exit on clay. With no prior head-to-head and both players seeking main-draw entry on outdoor hard courts in New York, trader consensus reflects Droguet’s superior form, ranking, and surface adaptability heading into the August 24 encounter.
