The Short Version

Polymarket is accessible from Jordan in 2026, and the funding picture has just changed: Jordan moved from a central-bank prohibition to a licensed crypto framework. That opens the rail an offshore platform needs - though Polymarket itself holds no Jordanian licence, and gambling law still applies. This page states the facts; it is not investment or legal advice.

The financial rail (a 2026 shift)

Under the Virtual Assets Transactions Regulation Law of 2026, cryptocurrency is now legal in Jordan, a significant change from the Central Bank of Jordan's earlier prohibitions. Exchanges must obtain a licence from the Jordan Securities Commission (JSC) and meet AML/CFT obligations - customer due diligence, the Travel Rule, and monthly reporting to the CBJ and the Financial Intelligence Unit. In practice that means licensed local on-ramps to USDC are becoming available where none lawfully existed before.

The gambling rail

A working crypto rail does not make betting legal. Gambling is prohibited in Jordan, and event or prediction contracts have not been defined as a separate permitted category. Polymarket is also unlicensed locally, so "you can fund it" is not "it is authorized for you."
