Livesport Prague Open: Dominika Salkova vs Barbora Krejcikova

Game context
Barbora Krejcikova enters the Livesport Prague Open quarterfinal as the clear market favorite against Dominika Salkova, reflecting her superior ranking, Grand Slam pedigree, and strong 2026 form that includes a recent WTA title in Athens. The second seed has dropped just four games across two straight-sets wins in Prague, including an all-Czech opener over Linda Fruhvirtova, while maintaining a 20-8 record on the season. Salkova, a lower-ranked Czech qualifier, reached this stage with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 victory over Oceane Dodin but faces her first matchup against Krejcikova and limited prior experience at this level. Both players compete on home hard courts in a 32-draw event, yet the sizable experience and recent momentum gap shapes trader consensus around the higher-ranked contender advancing.
