UFC Fight Night: Kennedy Nzechukwu vs. Shamil Gaziev (Heavyweight, Main Card)

Game context
Kennedy Nzechukwu holds a slight edge in reach and striking power at 6'5" with an 83-inch frame, but trader consensus reflects a near-even heavyweight matchup with Shamil Gaziev priced as a modest favorite around 55% implied probability. Both fighters enter off recent setbacks—Nzechukwu following a December 2025 draw against Marcus Almeida and an earlier submission loss, while Gaziev has absorbed back-to-back knockout defeats in 2026 after earlier first-round finishes. Nzechukwu returns from an extended layoff seeking momentum on a card where finishing ability could prove decisive, whereas Gaziev’s recent defensive vulnerabilities and shorter turnaround frame the bout as a high-variance test of power and recovery. No confirmed injuries or late changes have altered the matchup ahead of the August 22 event.
