Chepurnyi Artem vs. Makienko Mykhailo

Game context
Makienko Mykhailo holds a clear recent edge over Chepurnyi Artem in Setka Cup matches, winning their last three encounters in July 2026 by 3-1 scores each time, including back-to-back victories on July 21 and 22. Makienko enters with strong form, securing 16 of his prior 20 matches while keeping totals often under 74.5 points, whereas Chepurnyi shows inconsistency with alternating wins and losses against similar competition. Both Ukrainian players compete frequently in this high-volume league, where head-to-head patterns, set splits, and deuce frequency influence outcomes more than external variables like rest or travel. Recent results position Makienko as the consensus favorite in any rematch, though Chepurnyi's occasional upsets in five-setters remain possible given the format's variability.
