Game context

South Africa's strong home record at Cape Town Stadium and the Springboks' adjustments after their 16-33 first-Test defeat position them as the clear favorite in trader pricing for the second match of the four-Test series. The All Blacks secured a statement win at Ellis Park through clinical finishing from Will Jordan and others, capitalizing on South African errors, 23 turnovers conceded, and late sin-bins that left the hosts with 13 players. New Zealand's subsequent provincial victories and rise to World Rugby number one have sustained their momentum, yet the Boks are expected to restore key personnel including Siya Kolisi while addressing breakdown pressure and set-piece dominance. Historical rivalry patterns show the Springboks often respond forcefully at home following losses, supporting the implied probability edge despite the visitors' recent efficiency in attack.
