NBA Summer League: Minnesota Timberwolves vs. LA Clippers

Game context
Both rosters feature comparable mixes of 2025-26 draftees and undrafted prospects without dominant veterans, creating even implied probabilities around 50 percent. Minnesota enters on the heels of a lopsided loss to Portland, where Joan Beringer and Zyon Pullin showed flashes inside and in transition, while the Clippers regroup after dropping a Battle of Los Angeles contest to the Lakers in which rookie Keaton Wagler and Kobe Sanders combined for efficient scoring. Head-to-head Summer League history offers little precedent, and both squads are still sorting lineups and defensive schemes in Las Vegas. Standout showings from Beringer’s rim protection or Wagler’s perimeter creation, along with any late roster tweaks or foul trouble, remain the likeliest variables that could nudge trader consensus in either direction before tip-off.
