MLP San Diego: SoCal Hard Eights vs Florida Smash

Game context
SoCal Hard Eights and Florida Smash enter their MLP San Diego matchup with evenly matched implied probabilities driven by contrasting roster profiles and recent results. SoCal fields young talent including Armaan Bhatia, Will MacKinnon, Cailyn Campbell, and Meghan Dizon but has shown inconsistency in group play, recent losses, and left-side positioning challenges. Florida Smash, despite a sub-.500 record and weak women’s doubles, added local depth with Chris Crouch and relies on Travis Rettenmaier and Cason Campbell for competitive points in mixed formats. Home-event familiarity for SoCal, potential absences, and variable doubles pairings create the narrow balance, while confirmed lineups or last-minute scratches could shift momentum in either direction.
