San Francisco Giants vs. Atlanta Braves

Game context
The Atlanta Braves (46-25) enter this home series against the San Francisco Giants (29-43) with the NL’s best record and a substantial edge in implied probability, despite missing Ronald Acuña Jr. and Spencer Strider to injuries. A rain-suspended game from June 16, with the Giants leading 3-2 after two innings, resumes Wednesday afternoon before the scheduled nightcap, creating a doubleheader that tests bullpen depth and rotation planning. Atlanta welcomes back catcher Drake Baldwin while monitoring Michael Harris II’s back tightness; San Francisco counters with hot bats from Matt Chapman and rookie Bryce Eldridge. Home-field advantage at Truist Park and superior overall roster health give the Braves the clearer path, though the Giants’ recent offensive momentum and any weather-related disruptions could narrow the gap in individual games.
