Athletics vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Game context
The Arizona Diamondbacks enter the three-game home series against the Athletics with a stronger 49-47 record and NL West positioning, though their rotation faces notable strain from Zac Gallen’s recent elbow inflammation placement on the 15-day IL, plus longer-term absences for Corbin Burnes and Michael Soroka. The Athletics sit near the bottom of the AL West at 41-55 amid a losing skid and additional roster hits including Nick Kurtz’s thumb injury. Chase Field home advantage, recent D-backs wins against strong opponents, and the Athletics’ road struggles shape trader consensus around the favored Diamondbacks, while any quick returns from Arizona’s injured starters or offensive consistency from players like Ketel Marte could influence implied probabilities.
