Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Game context
The Los Angeles Dodgers enter this NL West matchup at 69-46 atop the division despite a recent six-game skid, while the Arizona Diamondbacks sit at 61-55, 8.5 games back and focused on maintaining their position in a tight wild-card race. Key factors include Los Angeles' road performance and probable starter Roki Sasaki's recent 2.25 ERA over four starts, contrasted with Arizona's home advantage at Chase Field. Injury reports remain central, with Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman day-to-day due to a wrist issue and multiple relievers sidelined, alongside Diamondbacks absences including Jordan Lawlar (hamstring) and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (adductor), though Ketel Marte nears a return from back soreness. Recent form, bullpen depth, and lineup adjustments will shape outcomes in this series.
