Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees

Game context
The New York Yankees (43-27) hold a firm lead in the AL East despite a lengthy injury list that includes Aaron Judge (rib), Giancarlo Stanton (leg), and several starters on the IL, while hosting the surprising Chicago White Sox (38-32), who sit atop the AL Central after recent series wins over the Braves and Dodgers. Both clubs carry extensive injured lists that limit lineup depth and bullpen options, shifting emphasis to available pitching matchups at Yankee Stadium. The White Sox have posted improved recent form and road resilience, narrowing the talent gap in this interleague series, though the Yankees retain home-field edges and historical advantages against lesser division opponents. Weather and bullpen usage in the late June schedule could further influence outcomes across the three-game set.
