Detroit Tigers vs. Houston Astros

Game context
Both teams enter the series below .500, with the Tigers at 30-42 in the AL Central and the Astros at 33-41 in the AL West. Detroit's recent offensive surge, highlighted by Colt Keith's three-home-run, six-RBI performance in a 9-3 win on June 15, underscores their power potential and momentum against Houston pitching. The Astros continue to deal with roster instability, including infielder Nick Allen on the 10-day IL and other pitching absences, while relying on Yordan Alvarez for production. Key upcoming factors include pitching matchups, bullpen depth, and any late injury updates from official reports, as both clubs navigate tight AL standings battles and schedule demands through the middle of June. Trader consensus on outcomes will likely hinge on confirmed lineups and recent form rather than long-term projections.
