San Francisco Giants vs. Atlanta Braves

Game context
The Atlanta Braves enter the series at Truist Park with the best record in MLB at 46-25 and a strong 22-11 home mark, though they have gone 5-5 over their last 10 games amid a recent loss. Key absences include Ronald Acuña Jr. (hamstring, 10-day IL) and Spencer Strider (elbow inflammation, 15-day IL with extended shutdown), alongside other roster depth issues, while catcher Drake Baldwin's return from the IL offers a potential boost. The San Francisco Giants sit at 29-43, 16.5 games back in the NL West, but have shown recent offensive momentum with a 10-run comeback in their prior outing and improved slugging over the past week. Multiple Giants pitchers also land on the injured list, including Tyler Mahle and others. These roster and form contrasts shape trader consensus around the Braves' edge despite the Giants' capacity for scoring outbursts in this interleague matchup.
