Colorado Rockies vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Game context
The Arizona Diamondbacks enter the August 12 matchup at Chase Field as clear favorites in trader consensus, reflecting their 64-57 record and second-place NL West standing compared to the Rockies’ 47-73 mark and last-place position. Arizona has shown stronger recent form while pursuing playoff positioning, whereas Colorado continues to struggle on the road with a porous offense and rotation. Starting pitchers Ryan Feltner (4-6, 5.71 ERA) for the Rockies and Merrill Kelly (8-9, 4.88 ERA) for the Diamondbacks set up a favorable home matchup for Arizona, further supported by multiple Rockies pitchers on the injured list. Series play at the Diamondbacks’ home venue and the overall talent and schedule gap between the clubs reinforce the implied probability edge for Arizona.
