ITF W15 Tianjin 2 Women: Shihomi Li Xuan Leong vs Thasaporn Naklo

Game context
Thasaporn Naklo enters this ITF W15 Tianjin 2 semifinal as the higher-ranked player with a career-high WTA singles mark of 332 and multiple ITF titles, giving her an edge in experience and consistency on hard courts against the younger Shihomi Li Xuan Leong. The 24-year-old Thai has shown strong recent form, advancing with straight-set wins, while the 19-year-old Malaysian qualifier has impressed locally with efficient victories, including a quarterfinal defeat of Jiayi Wang. Their limited prior meetings and Leong’s rapid ranking climb around the 970s add uncertainty, though Naklo’s superior baseline play and physical maturity typically prevail in such low-level events. Surface conditions and any late fitness updates could influence the outcome in this closely contested matchup.
