ITF Santa Fe: Ekaterina Khayrutdinova vs Mckenna Schaefbauer

Game context
**Ekaterina Khayrutdinova holds a clear edge in this W35 Santa Fe hard-court match due to her superior WTA ranking near 495 and stronger 2026 singles record of 7-5.** The 22-year-old Russian has compiled consistent ITF experience with a career-high ranking of 465, while American Mckenna Schaefbauer, transitioning from college tennis at Illinois, sits outside the top 1,000 with limited pro results. Schaefbauer posted a strong qualifying win (6-0, 6-2) in the Santa Fe event but faces a significant step up in competition. No head-to-head history exists, and both players enter on standard rest with no reported injuries or withdrawals. The hard surface favors Khayrutdinova’s established baseline game and recent form. Trader consensus reflects this gap, pricing the Russian as the heavy favorite absent any late changes to the draw or player fitness.
