Estoril Open: Kyrian Jacquet vs Alexander Blockx

Game context
**Kyrian Jacquet faces Alexander Blockx in the Estoril Open round of 16 on outdoor clay.** Blockx, ranked around No. 37 and the clear ranking favorite, brings stronger recent tour-level results including a Madrid semifinal run earlier in the clay swing, though he missed time after a right ankle sprain during French Open practice in late May. Jacquet, currently ranked near No. 130 with a career-high of 102, advanced via qualifying with a straight-sets win over Goncalo Da Rosa Castro but dropped the qualifying final to Taro Daniel. The Belgian’s superior experience at this level and serve-oriented game on clay shape the consensus, while the 25-year-old Frenchman’s recent form and home-soil comfort provide the main counterbalance. No prior head-to-head exists, and both enter with standard preparation for the ATP 250 event.
