Wimbledon WTA: Ekaterina Alexandrova vs Lanlana Tararudee

Ekaterina Alexandrova76Game context
Ekaterina Alexandrova enters as the clear favorite against Lanlana Tararudee in Wimbledon’s second round due to her higher ranking near No. 19, proven grass-court results including prior titles at ‘s-Hertogenbosch, and recent form that includes a straight-sets win over Panna Udvardy plus victories against top players like Mirra Andreeva. The 31-year-old Russian has reached multiple Grand Slam third rounds and maintains strong first-serve percentages on fast surfaces. Tararudee, ranked around No. 99 with a career high of 94, is a rising Thai player who captured a WTA 125 title in Austin and reached her first main-draw Slam appearance, yet her limited experience on grass and against top-20 opponents creates a sizable gap reflected in trader consensus. Recent pre-tournament results and surface-specific records reinforce the implied probability favoring Alexandrova.
