Wimbledon ATP: Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Novak Djokovic

Game context
Djokovic holds a commanding 12-2 head-to-head edge over Tsitsipas and owns unmatched grass-court pedigree at Wimbledon, where his seven titles and career win rate above 85 percent reflect superior movement, serve, and return consistency on the surface. Tsitsipas enters 2026 ranked near No. 80 after a back injury that limited him to minimal Grand Slam success in 2025 and prompted retirement considerations, though he has posted early-season wins and advanced to the Wimbledon second round with a straight-sets victory. Recent developments include Tsitsipas parting ways with his father/coach and showing improved physical comfort, yet he lacks proven results against elite grass players. Djokovic’s fitness remains a minor variable after an exhibition withdrawal, but his experience in high-stakes matches continues to shape market pricing around their potential early-round clash.
