Game context
Cleveland Guardians enter the upcoming series at Daikin Park with a stronger record near the top of the AL Central, though recent injuries have altered their outlook. Star third baseman José Ramírez underwent surgery for a fractured left hamate bone and faces a 5-to-7 week absence, while outfielder Chase DeLauter landed on the injured list with a rib fracture. Houston Astros, sitting below .500 in the AL West, have seen starter Hunter Brown return from the 60-day injured list. Recent head-to-head results and home-field factors, combined with pitching matchups and bullpen availability, shape trader consensus on series or game outcomes amid these roster adjustments.
