Boston Red Sox vs. Colorado Rockies

Game context
Boston Red Sox visit the Colorado Rockies for a three-game series at Coors Field beginning June 22, with both clubs posting sub-.500 records (BOS 29-41, COL 28-46). The Red Sox hold advantages in overall roster depth and pitching staff despite multiple injuries, including Nick Sogard (oblique) and Triston Casas on the 60-day IL, while recent bullpen inconsistencies and Garrett Crochet's recovery timeline remain factors. The Rockies' home environment at altitude typically boosts offensive output and inflates scoring, potentially neutralizing Boston's edge in ERA and strikeouts. Probable starters such as Sonny Gray highlight matchup considerations, with recent form, bullpen availability, and travel effects shaping the competitive outlook in this interleague set.
