Game context

Leicestershire Foxes host Lancashire Lightning on June 26 in the Vitality T20 Blast North Group at Grace Road, where the Foxes hold a narrow edge in recent form and standings. Leicestershire sit third with a 3-3 record and improved momentum after securing back-to-back wins, including a dramatic two-wicket chase in the reverse fixture on May 29 when they overhauled Lancashire’s 145. Lancashire remain sixth at 2-4, hampered by inconsistent results despite explosive potential from players like Liam Livingstone and overseas signing Ben McDermott. Home conditions at Uptonsteel County Ground typically favor seam movement early before favoring aggressive middle-order batting, while both sides eye playoff positioning in a tightly contested group. Injury updates and overseas availability will shape final XIs.
