Jan-Lennard Struff772Game context
Daniil Medvedev enters this potential Wimbledon third-round matchup with superior recent form, including strong 2026 results and straight-sets wins over Marin Cilic and Daniel Merida Aguilar on grass. The higher-ranked Russian leads the head-to-head 9-2 overall and 2-1 on the surface, with prior victories at the All England Club. Jan-Lennard Struff, ranked around 74, brings grass-court experience and a powerful serve that has produced competitive sets in past meetings, including a 2024 Wimbledon loss after taking a set. Struff advanced past Sebastian Baez in five sets but faces a tougher test against Medvedev’s consistency and return game. Schedule position, fatigue from longer matches, and grass-court movement will influence outcomes in this Grand Slam encounter.
