Wimbledon ATP: Jannik Sinner vs Jenson Brooksby

Game context
Jannik Sinner enters the third-round Wimbledon clash as defending champion and world No. 1 after surviving a five-set first-round scare against Miomir Kecmanovic, marked by a baseline fall and a torn toenail that bloodied his shoe. The Italian has since shown resilience on grass, where his baseline consistency and serve have historically overwhelmed opponents. Jenson Brooksby arrives with momentum, posting straight-sets wins over Aleksandar Vukic and Ignacio Buse to reach this stage, leveraging improved grass-court movement and experience from prior ATP results. Their lone prior meeting dates to 2021 on hard courts, a Sinner victory. Trader consensus heavily favors Sinner due to ranking disparity, surface adaptation, and recent form, though Brooksby’s recent results on the lawns highlight realistic upset potential if Sinner’s foot issue lingers.
