Amanda Anisimova647Game context
Amanda Anisimova enters Wimbledon 2026 as the sixth seed with strong momentum from her 2025 runner-up finish on grass and a solid 14-8 record this season, currently ranked around world No. 6. The American has shown comfort on the surface, including a semifinal win over then-world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka last year, and enters healthy after recent press comments highlighting positive preparation. Sofia Kenin, ranked near No. 103 with a 4-16 singles mark in 2026, faces a steep challenge after inconsistent recent results. Their head-to-head is limited, but Anisimova’s ranking, recent form, and grass-court pedigree create a wide gap in implied probabilities for any matchup during the fortnight. Both open against lower-ranked opponents in the draw, with early-round progress likely hinging on serving consistency and movement on the fast courts.
