Game context
Both clubs enter the interleague series at loanDepot park with nearly identical sub-.500 records, Rangers at 35-38 in the AL West and Marlins at 36-38 in the NL East. Multiple Rangers absences, including Corey Seager’s recent concussion placement on the 7-day IL plus oblique and forearm issues for Evan Carter and Danny Jansen, have thinned the lineup and rotation depth. Miami’s own hamstring placements for Griffin Conine and Eury Perez, alongside several bullpen arms on the IL, similarly limit options. Probable starters and home-field factors in South Florida’s warm conditions shape early market positioning ahead of the June 22-24 games.
