ITF Sapporo: Ayumi Miyamoto vs Gaeul Jang

Game context
Ayumi Miyamoto enters the ITF W15 Sapporo 2 Women semifinal on outdoor hard courts with strong recent momentum, securing multiple straight-sets victories in the event including against Kanon Sawashiro and Aishi Das. The 25-year-old Japanese player brings greater experience and local support to the matchup against 19-year-old South Korean Gaeul Jang, who sits near a career-high WTA ranking of 730 and has posted solid results earlier in the draw. With no prior head-to-head record between the pair, key variables include Miyamoto’s consistent first-set dominance and both players’ adaptation to the fast hard-court conditions typical of this Japanese ITF swing. The outcome will likely hinge on serving efficiency and break-point conversion in what projects as a competitive encounter between established and emerging ITF-level talent.
