Game context

Chicago Cubs (36-34) travel to Oracle Park to face the San Francisco Giants (28-41) on June 13, with both clubs dealing with pitching injuries that have thinned rotations and bullpens. The Cubs, after a strong early-season start, have posted a sub-.500 mark over their last 25 games, while the Giants remain near the bottom of the standings despite competitive recent series splits. Key injury notes include multiple Chicago starters on the IL and Giants left-hander Tyler Mahle nearing a return. Home-field factors at Oracle Park, recent head-to-head results favoring San Francisco, and the current form of available starters like Javier Assad will shape implied probabilities in this matchup.
