Game context

Martina Capurro Taborda enters the ITF W35 Cuiabá semifinal as the clear favorite against Antonia Vergara Rivera on outdoor clay, backed by her WTA ranking of 266 compared to Rivera’s 387 and a stronger 2026 singles record of 19-8. Taborda’s prior straight-sets victory over Rivera in a 2025 ITF final further supports trader consensus favoring the Argentine. Rivera has posted efficient wins in the draw, including a 6-0 6-2 quarterfinal result, yet faces a sizable step up in opponent quality. The clay surface aligns with both players’ South American backgrounds, while Taborda’s greater experience at this level and consistent recent results shape the market’s implied probabilities ahead of the evening match.
