Libema Open: Adrian Mannarino vs Alex de Minaur

Game context
Alex de Minaur, the world No. 6 and 2024 Libema Open champion, enters this grass-court semifinal as the clear trader favorite against 37-year-old Adrian Mannarino, a 2019 event winner ranked No. 46. De Minaur brings superior recent form, athletic consistency, and a strong head-to-head edge overall, though the surface favors Mannarino’s left-handed slice and net game. The Frenchman has surged this week with three straight grass wins, including an upset over defending champion Gabriel Diallo and a quarterfinal victory over Zhizhen Zhang that set a French record for tour-level grass victories. De Minaur’s path has featured efficient wins, underscoring his speed and baseline control on the fast courts. Market pricing reflects de Minaur’s higher ranking and reliability against Mannarino’s veteran grass resurgence and potential for extended rallies.
