Game context

Taylor Fritz enters the Stuttgart Open semifinal as defending champion with a strong record on grass, having rallied past Martin Landaluce in a tight three-setter and defeated Mattia Bellucci to reach this stage. Alexander Bublik arrives in strong 2026 form, holding a career-high ranking near the top 10 after securing a title in Hong Kong and posting consistent results earlier in the season. Their head-to-head is closely contested, with Bublik claiming a recent indoor hard-court upset, though Fritz holds the edge in overall experience at this level. The fast grass surface highlights both players’ powerful serves and aggressive baseline play, making recent match fitness and adaptation to the conditions key variables in the matchup.
