Seattle Mariners vs. Washington Nationals

Game context
The Seattle Mariners conclude a three-game series at Nationals Park against the Washington Nationals on June 14, 2026, amid a depleted roster. Multiple Mariners position players remain sidelined or day-to-day, including Randy Arozarena (left hamstring strain), J.P. Crawford, and others on the injured list, which has thinned the lineup and outfield options during their extended East Coast road trip. Emerson Hancock takes the mound for Seattle after strong recent starts with a sub-2.00 ERA over his last five outings, while Washington counters with opener PJ Poulin followed by Miles Mikolas. The Nationals, hovering near .500, have shown offensive momentum at home and capitalized in the prior game of the series. Both clubs sit around .500 overall, with bullpen depth and health likely shaping late-inning outcomes in this matchup.
